The Cyberathlete Professional League today announced an open Halo 3 competition at the Extreme Winter Championships in Dallas in December.
The tourney, which runs from Dec. 18 through Dec. 22 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas, will give away $1 million in prize money. The winner of the tourney will receive $250,000 in cash, with the rest of the cash paid out to at least 64 places. The competition is open to gamers worldwide and does not require pre-qualification. The world’s largest passenger plane, the Airbus A380, has landed in Sydney on its first commercial flight, after a seven-hour journey from Singapore.
Singapore Airlines took delivery of the huge plane, dubbed the Superjumbo, just over a week ago. Passengers bought seats in a charity online auction.
It can carry some 850 passengers, but took about 450 to Sydney.
The superjumbo’s advent ends a reign of nearly four decades by the Boeing 747 as the world’s biggest airliner.
Basicly this is one fucking kick ass plane! oh and a first class ticket will only cost you 100,000$ for 7hr flight thats about 14 grand an hour or 250$ a min. Who needs a House? just blow that money on a plane ride.
Everyone’s favorite hardware hacker Benjamin Heckendorn is at it again, and his latest mutant mashup is the one-handed Access controller. The modular rig features five interchangeable pods — one each for the analog sticks, d-pad, main buttons, and shoulder buttons — that can be rearranged to make any control scheme one-hand-friendly. Ben says the Access is in pre-production with eDimensional, and will be hitting in PS2 / 3 versions first with a planned 360 version to follow — although it certainly looks like a brave 360 controller was involved in making that prototype. yeah its been a week or soo since i last posted and the only real excusse i have is that i have had a hell of a time with Team Fortress 2 
If you have’nt heard team Fortress 2 is a really fun, Fast, balls to the wall online FPS. So go pick it up , plus you also get HL2 HL2 : episode 1 & 2 and portal ( its short but its a change from tipical gameplay) so ill talk to you guys later…
yup you heard it Halo 3 contiues to fly of the shelves of gaming stores around the world! Breaking records on the 1st day with 170 million it racks in at 300 million in the first week! and it doesnt look like its stoping anytime soon, i dont know the sales of Halo 1 and 2 but Halo has to be pretty damn close to 1 billion. all i have to say is great work to the guys over at bungie you found a soft spot in the gamer’s heart. only question that remains is…. will Halo 4 sell 200+ million on Day 1?
huxleygame.com Reports that an Open Beta of Huxley will be avaliable late october or early November. This is great news! Huxley in my mind is a Sleeper Hit. plus whats better than a FPSMMORPG!!

Not only is this show amazing in every aspect it acualy has a good plot and you wont be lost like in that show called “Lost”. Set in present day (well kind of) a group of “heroes” are faced with the hardships and troubles of living as a human with special powers. If you want to see what all the hype is about tune into NBC @ 9pm to check it out, also tune in @ 8pm for “Chuck” its also a really good show.
